Patrick Westwater

Patrick Westwater is a Los Angeles–based writer, producer, and director working across features, television, podcasts, documentary, and branded content.

He co-wrote and is producing Small Talk, a family comedy-drama now in development, and has written for an independent drama series. His scripts have been recognized by the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, the Austin Film Festival, the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, Final Draft’s Big Break, and Script Pipeline.

He has directed music videos and made documentary and branded work for clients including ESPN, Skydance Sports, Formula 1, Nat Geo, and The North Face.

He holds a BA from the University of Miami and a hard-earned Master’s in Self-Deprecation from growing up Irish-Catholic outside of Boston.

And the voices in his head prefer third person.
